Madison native Vivek Swaminathan has devoted most of his career to healthcare information technology, including stints at medical records leader Epic Systems and Nordic Consulting Partners, which offers consulting for Epic users worldwide.
But after over 20 years working for others, Vivek in 2021 joined with two former Epic and Nordic colleagues to launch Cardamom Health, a name that reflects his Indian heritage and symbolizes enhancing health and experience.
Currently headquartered on Madison’s west side with plans to move downtown in August, minority-owned Cardamom Health promises a flexible, team-based approach to IT services for healthcare providers, insurance plans and related organizations including device manufacturers. It focuses on using data, analytics and applications to improve the quality and cost of health care.
